My sister and I decided to take a trip to Universal Studios so we could visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Let me just say it was well worth it. But here is my complete Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Review!
We loved Bonnet Creek and are planning a return trip in the winter. Our favorite part was the proximity to Universal Studios as well as Disney Springs and the Disney parks.

Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek is located directly near Disney Springs and is in the Disney Resort area, making it ideal for visiting the Disney theme parks. It’s truly near some of the best attractions in Orlando. In less than a twenty-minute drive, you can get to Universal Orlando as well!
This resort is also near many other great attractions including Gatorland, the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, and the Orange County Convention Center. No matter where in Orlando you have to be, you’ll find that it’s not that far from Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek’s great condos.
Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Amenities
The amenities at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek are top notch! Seriously, each room has no shortage of amenities and the resort area is amazing.
Each room comes with an in-room safe, blackout drapes, welcome packet, and free wireless internet. Depending on the room you book, you may also have access to a balcony, sitting area, or other amenities.
Most room options also have a kitchen, so you can save yourself some money by cooking meals during your trip.
Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek also has tons of amenities that are available for anyone staying at the condos. There are four different restaurants, including a cantina and a pizzeria.
A gift shop sells conveniences you may have forgotten, and there’s a coffee shop if you want a fresh cup of Joe without making it yourself. Kids will love the game room that’s fully outfitted with epic arcade games and even a ping pong table.
There are plenty of fun things to do outdoors too. You’ll find a shuffleboard court, five outdoor swimming pools, two lazy rivers, two children’s water play places, nine hot tubs, a running track, a mini-golf course, a playground, and an outdoor screen where they occasionally host movie nights for anyone staying here.
Plus, in case you have to exercise or get any work done while staying at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, you’ll find a business center and a gym at your convenience. There’s even laundry service in case you’re staying for an extended period of time or happen to stain some of your clothes.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it absolutely did not disappoint. You walked into an open living room, kitchen, and dining space.
The kitchen is full-sized and fully stocked so no need to worry about bringing anything other than the groceries.
The bedroom had a comfortable queen size bed and a great view of the pool outside. The bathroom was spacious and we also had a jacuzzi tub in the room.
This is a typical one bedroom here at Bonnet Creek so they are all very nice! The larger rooms will have most of the same common areas, just with a different layout.
What To Know Before Visiting Wyndham Bonnet Creek
No Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek review would be complete without a “Know Before You Go” section! So here is everything you might find helpful before booking or heading to the resort. If you have other questions, leave them in the comments below!
During peak season, this resort books up quickly. Peak season is typically during the summer months when kids are out of school and then on school holidays. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and spring break are popular ones.
A lot of landscaping work is often done to keep the place looking good. This means there may be some noise associated with that in the mornings.
Concierge staff is not as accommodating once they find out you aren’t interested in a presentation. This resort is designed to sell timeshares for Wyndham. If they find out you aren’t here with your spouse or you don’t want to attend a presentation, they aren’t as interested in making you happy.
Pools get PACKED early in the day. If you get there even an hour after they open you’ll have a hard time finding a spot. The adult’s only pool closes in the afternoon for cleaning.
Be prepared for crowds at restaurants if you want to eat at peak times. The restaurants on site are pretty good – the best one we tried was Escudos. We did not eat at their up-scale restaurant, Deep Blu.
While we were there, shuttles to Universal Studios only ran once in the mornings and once in the afternoons. The morning shuttle didn’t leave until 10:30am I believe and that was just too late for us. We tried to get to the park by 8:45 in the morning.
They should have daily activities at the resort for kids and adults. Since we visited during COVID they only had a few options but during normal times this is a great perk.
This is definitely a resort centered around families with kids. That didn’t stop us from having a good time though. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is not your place.
